The turbulent relationship between Gabriella González, 26, and Harold Thompson, 22, ended in a fatal shooting at a gas station in Texas. Police said Thompson allegedly killed González because she had an abortion in Colorado.

Her last minutes of anguish were recorded by security cameras at the gas station. In the images the suspect is seen “trying to strangle González. He seems to ask her for something, but she shrugs,» explains one of the officer investigating the case.

«The young woman is seen walking and then the suspect shoots her in the head. Seeing her fall, he approaches her and shoots her again. And again. He then fled,» said the detective.

González died at the scene, while the man with whom she lived for the last four months of her life escaped. Gabriella’s sister, Mileny Rubio, witnessed the shooting. She said, «He was so angry because she wanted to get away from him.»

Harold Thompson had an active arrest warrant from last March

The alleged perpetrator of the horrendous crime was captured by the police in a shopping center parking lot two days after the murder. Harold Thompson is being held without bail in a Dallas County jail.

According to police records to which MundoNow had access, Thompson had had an active arrest warrant for domestic violence from last March.

«He left her bruised… and she was so scared.»

The police report states that the woman, who said she was pregnant by Thompson, swore to the officers that «he violently attacked her and left her bruised… and she was very afraid.»

Gabriella’s family is devastated. They say that little by little he was taking her away from everything. He took away her smile and not satisfied with that, he ended her life. They are waiting for justice to be served so that he pays for his crime and leaving three children without their mother.
