- Chronicle: Georgia mother begs for justice after her baby’s murder.
- The infant was killed while visiting her grandparents in Mexico.
- Aliyah is a clear example that the evil of man has no limits.
They say that time heals all wounds, but that is not always the case. There is irreparable pain that not even the passing of years can ease. The is the case with innocent little Aliyah Fuentes Amante who, on June 13, was savagely shot to death.
The 7-month-old girl, who lived in Gainesville, Georgia, had traveled to Guanajuato, Mexico with her mother, Cruz Amante. They were visiting her grandparents and getting merchandise to stock the store Cruz Amante owns.
Fate had a cruel nightmare in store for them
What should have been a pleasant trip ended up becoming a horrendous nightmare when an armed individual entered the family business, shooting in all directions. Little Aliyah was shot in the head during that vile attack and died instantly.
Almost two weeks have passed since that terrible and unforgivable attack and the little victim has already been buried, but she will never be forgotten. Her family is waiting for the prompt arrest of her murderer so that he pays for his heinous crime. A video from the business’s security cameras was just released with the hope of helping the investigation. Filed Under: Chronicle mother death baby.
What motivated the man to commit such a crime?
In these harsh images you can see the moment when the attacker entered the store owned by Marcela León, the girl’s grandmother. The thug stood in the middle of the room and looked around as if he was looking for something in particular. Then he left without even asking for anything.
An instant later the guy burst in again, but this time with a gun in his hand, and began shooting everywhere. Everyone in the store panicked and several of the people threw themselves to the ground to protect themselves from the bullets. Then the killer left and a man appeared carrying the baby in his arms and crying. It was Aliyah. Filed Under: Chronicle mother death baby.
«Half of my life is in heaven»
Just take a look at Cruz Amante’s Facebook account to imagine a little bit of the incomparable pain the mother of the innocent creature is experiencing due to Aliyah’s tragic death. She clearly states that even though she knows she is in that beautiful place called heaven, she doesn’t stop missing her and aching for her.
Last Friday the family gathered at the Memorial Park Funeral Home in Hall County, to give Aliyah her last goodbye before burying her. A few days before, they held a first mass in her honor in Salvatierra, Guanajuato, where the crime occurred. They then transported her body to Georgia. Filed Under: Chronicle mother death baby.
Few clues about the killer
Cruz’s worst fear is that the crime will go unpunished, like so many other murders in Mexico. For this reason, she has not ruled out seeking the intervention of the US government in view of the fact that the girl was born here. The grieving family wants the killer to pay.
I don’t blame them, I think that the fact that a child was taken away from one in this way is something that can not be forgiven easily, so I hope that the Mexican justice system does its part give the family closure. The only thing that is known so far about Aliyah’s killer is that he is a known criminal with the alias ‘El Patas’. Thanks for reading my story today at MundoNOW.Until next time.
