The couple from Nuevo León tragically passed away on a beach in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, where they had traveled with their family to enjoy a well-deserved break together.
According to reports, they allegedly drowned while attempting to swim in the sea.
This fateful incident has left relatives and friends in shock, as they had hoped this trip would be a time of joy and bonding.

They identify the victims
Juan Gabino Gutiérrez Rodríguez and Rosa Marina Arizpe Blanco, both 30 years old and residents of Juárez, traveled with family and friends.
However, at some point during the day, they opted for a solitary walk that resulted in their tragic death.
The exact circumstances that led to this fatality are still under investigation.
It is evident that what was initially planned as a time to share and enjoy each other’s company turned into an episode of profound shock and sorrow for all involved.
More details of the tragedy
Mayrin Galván Rodríguez, cousin of Juan Gabino, provided chilling details about the incident in an interview with MILENIO.
According to her account, the couple left the hotel where they were staying on the night of Sunday, March 17th, and ventured into the sea.
Tragically, they failed to make it out of the water and drowned. Their bodies were found near the beach on Monday, March 18th.
Identification was facilitated by the hotel bracelets they still had on their wrists, confirming the tragic outcome.
How did they die?
«They went on a family trip and they went into the sea at night and they found them in the early hours of the morning,» she commented.
«They found them outside the sea and they already notified my uncles and cousins because of the hotel bracelets, they knew they were from such hotel,» said the man’s relative.
«They went in at night around 12 or 1 in the morning and there is a well about one and a half to two meters deep, they say they fell in there and drowned,» she added.
«The sea threw them onto the sand, my brother was at the entrance of the hotel and my sister-in-law about 200 meters from him,» she reported on the events.
Last message he left for his wife
Juan Gabino Gutiérrez Rodríguez and Rosa Marina Arizpe Blanco had been married for a year but together for seven, according to social media.
Beyond their union, they were parents to three children, a responsibility that now falls on others as they struggle to cope with their loss.
He had dedicated a message to her for their anniversary: «Today, a year ago, we celebrated our marriage, and already 7 years of being together.»
