Soccer coach, Tomás Boy, also known ‘El Jefe’, is in serious condition and is hospitalized in Mexico City after suffering a pulmonary thromboembolism. The coach’s condition is guarded, according to Reforma, El Universal and Quadratin.

«El Jefe», as he is nicknamed, was a historic player for Tigres and was captain of the National Team in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. He was in the port of Acapulco, Guerrero when he began having issues with his lungs. He was admitted to the hospital last Friday.
