The tropical music world is in mourning after the tragic news that singer Gladys Rodríguez, better known as La Calandria Boliviana, has died. She became famous for the popular song Pasito Tun Tun, according to infobae.

The singer was one of the greatest performers of autochthonous tropical music, and was renowned for her hit, which was often played at parties, weddings, quinceañeras and other social events. She was born on February 28, 1938 in the Bolivian city of Chuquisaca.
