According to Debate, El Pirata’s girlfriend Dulce shared a message on social media.

«Memories take over my mind, a glass with hot tequila, pain keeping us company, and I thought it didn’t hurt.»

The young woman wrote these words just one day after the brutal murder of Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales, but that wasn’t all.

«Where is your love? Where did it go? Where did that hope of you coming back vanish?» So were they really a couple?

It is worth noting that, in addition to the message for El Pirata de Culiacán, Dulce shared a photo of the two of them kissing in front of a mirror.

She also shared what seems to be the last WhatsApp conversation she had with her alleged boyfriend on her Facebook page.

«I can’t believe it, it hasn’t even been ten hours since we were talking, laughing and planning. How to think that life can end in a few seconds.»

Were they really dating?

El Pirata’s girlfriend Dulce wrote him a farewell message.

«You were truly a great person, you enjoyed life as you wanted, and you didn’t care what they said about you, you left me, but you will always be in my heart.»

Days before his death, Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales gave a revealing interview to producer Pepe Garza.

On that occasion, the radio host tried to convince him stop living such a wild life. Unfortunately, he didn’t listen.

Did El Mencho order El Pirata’s death?

As mentioned earlier, Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales insulted Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes in a video that quickly went viral.

Supposedly, the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, better known as El Mencho, ordered El Pirata de Culiacán’s execution.

The incident took place on December 18, 2017, in a well-known bar in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico.

The young man was hanging out with his friends when a group of men came in and shot him to death.

Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales’ life changed completely

After the murder of El Pirata de Culiacán, an interview with his grandmother, María Rosales Torres, came to light.

According to El Heraldo de México, she said in this conversation that her grandson was a good boy who worked hard to support his family.

Juan Luis used to sell pozole and tamales, among other dishes, to help support his grandmother financially. It’s worth noting that his own mother abandoned him.
