  • Profe Claudio Nieto tells you what could be done to eliminate abdominal fat.
  • It’s not just about getting active, but also about eating right.
  • He offers you some tips for better results in this.

In our constant effort to stay fit and achieve our weight loss goals, we often face a common problem: stubborn fat that just won’t go away.

Whether it’s in the chest, belly, or buttocks, this fat can be annoying to lose.

In this post, we’ll share simple tips for both eating and exercising that can help you lose that stubborn fat.

Why is it so hard to lose? We often wonder why, even after we’ve greatly reduced our body fat, we can’t get toned abs or lose those last few stubborn pounds.

The reason is due to the complexity of our bodies and how they react to different things.

To better understand how to lose this stubborn fat, we need to know about three important steps: moving the fat, carrying it, and burning it.

Moving stubborn fat: The first step in losing stubborn fat is to move it from where it’s stored into your bloodstream.

This means breaking down fats into fatty acids and glycerol. The HSN enzyme, also known as hormone-sensitive lipase, is really key in this process.

Lowering insulin and increasing adrenaline and noradrenaline are key to moving this fat.

How to lower insulin: Try not to eat too many amino acids and high-glycemic carbs, as these raise insulin in your body.

Wait three to four hours between meals so that insulin levels are low before you exercise.

Increase stress: Stress hormones, like adrenaline and noradrenaline, attack when you’re stressed.

Intense exercises, like CrossFit, are great for releasing these hormones.

Carrying stubborn fat: Once the fat is in your bloodstream, carrying it to organs that need it is pretty simple.

Traditional, longer, medium to low-intensity cardio is good for carrying fatty acids to the mitochondria.

Burning stubborn fat: The last step is burning the fat in the mitochondria, where it’s used as fuel.

The availability of glycogen in the body can affect this process. If the glucose stores in the muscles and liver are full, a mixture of fat and glucose will be used as an energy source.

Example of training to eliminate stubborn fat:

Fast for three to four hours before training. Reduce carbohydrate intake for at least two days prior to training.

Start with a high-intensity workout to mobilize fatty acids.

Then, do medium or low-intensity cardio for 45 minutes or more to carry fatty acids to the mitochondria.

Don’t eat glucose during exercise, but make sure to drink water and electrolytes.

Losing stubborn fat can be tough, but by understanding how to move, carry, and burn fat, you can improve your diet and exercise plan to reach your goals.

Remember that this type of training is not for everyone and should be done with caution. Profe Claudio Nieto hopes you have enjoyed these tips and says goodbye for now. See you next time!
