Amidst their farewell tour, we learn about what supposedly happened in Los Temerarios’ tour bus.

On his YouTube channel, Charly Abrego, a former member of the group, interviewed Doña Alicia, who is married to ‘Don Mike,’ Adolfo Ángel’s driver.

Doña Alicia recalled that her husband began working with the group between 1990 and 1992, around the same time Charly joined the band.

«He started with Gustavo, then with Adolfo, and finally with Fernando. Before that, he was with the technical crew when they went to the US,» she said.

Perhaps it sounds hard to believe today, but at the peak of their career, each member of Los Temerarios had their own tour bus.

«Adolfo’s bus had a bedroom at the back,» Charly revealed, and Doña Alicia said that she also knew about that.

On top of that, the musician had a piano and a lounge area with a massive sofa. Don Mike was in charge of ensuring everything was in order.

«When they went to the US, he went as the driver, but when he arrived, he worked from Monday to Friday because he was the workshop manager,» Doña Alicia said.

Charly Abrego, recalled that each Los Temerarios tour bus had a name: La Bala and El Cumis were two of them.

When the group members traveled together, the person responsible for driving the bus was Don David.

Adolfo Ángel was the first member of the music group to purchase his own tour bus.

«My husband was completely devoted. I think he was Los Temerarios’ first fan, and he loved working with them.»

When Los Temerarios 2024 farewell tour was announced, few remembered that there had already been another farewell tour in 2005.

In that year, the music group gave a farewell concert at Salón Mi Tierra, although they later returned to the stage.

Both Don Mike and other employees received their settlements according to the law, although not everyone was satisfied.

«My husband fell into depression. He was very happy with Los Temerarios, and this affected him a lot,» Doña Alicia said, hinting at more stories to tell.

In another part of the interview, Doña Alicia told Charly Abrego how Los Temerarios’ driver, Don Mike, died.

«His lungs were severely damaged, and then it was complicated by the prostate and the heart, primarily the heart,» said his widow.

She also recalled that, at times, the music group’s stay in the US would last up to three months.

«He saw how they evolved with better equipment, better buses, and trailers.»

More than just a driver, Don Mike became one of the people Adolfo Ángel, El Temerario Mayor, trusted the most.

Doña Alicia told Charly Abrego that her husband would share stories about the times he took the group out for dinner in the wee hours of the morning.

And when no one expected it, the percussionist said that during their bus trips, they would entertain themselves by watching VHS movies.

Finally, Doña Alicia remembered that Adolfo Ángel loved to eat gansitos and yogurts.
