Chronicle: Man arrested for taking naked photos of a 6-year-old boy

Authorities in Georgia have just arrested a Hispanic man for alleged sexual abuse of a minor with whom he shared a residence. The relationship between them is unknown. The man is Roberto Peña, 50 years old.

The suspect was arrested by officers from the Canton Police Department, a small city in Cherokee County, northwest of Atlanta. According to court records, Roberto took several naked photos of a six-year-old boy. The Prosecutor’s Office says the images were taken between 2019 and 2021.

But taking pornographic photos of the little boy is not all that Roberto is accused of. In fact, investigators claim to have sufficient evidence that he also sexually abused the child, which is why they not only accused him of child sexual exploitation, but also of child molestation.

The police say that during the period in which this individual exploited his victim, he did so in a vile, cruel and ruthless way. He will not do it again, as authorities will ensure that he spends a long time in prison. If found guilty of the charges, he could even be sentenced to life in prison. Another man kidnapped a little girl on her bike

Unfortunately, the case of Roberto Peña in Georgia is not the only one in the US. In North Vernon, Indiana, another unfortunate incident has just been reported involving a nine-year-old girl. The girl was riding her bicycle in her neighborhood, when she was intercepted by a man who forced her to go with him and he molested her.

When the little girl’s mother noticed her absence, she immediately called 911 to report her missing. Authorities arrived at her apartment complex and began searching for her. Suddenly she appeared crying and asking for help

A couple of hours later, Sergeant Lucas Newson was still in the area looking for her when suddenly, he saw the little girl and her mother coming towards his patrol car. She told him that she had just met her in a secluded place near a local park and that she had something scary to tell him.

Then the child began to cry and told the officer that an «old man» began to follow her while she was riding her bicycle and that at a certain point he stopped her. After stopping her, he told her that she had to go with him because her mother was looking for her. She went with him without imagining that he wanted to abuse her. Everything indicates that he was homeless

After receiving the description of the suspect, the authorities began searching for him. They quickly saw a man coming out of a gas station whose clothing matched the suspect they were looking for. They decided to sneak up on him and saw that he did indeed enter a wooded area. After going for him, they discovered his camp.

They found a makeshift tent, with sheets, pillows and clothes in it. Everything was confiscated, as it is presumed that it is the place where he abused the girl. Charles Hensley, 57, was arrested and charged with kidnapping and rape. He was booked into the Jennings County Jail. The trial is scheduled for December 12.
