Accompanying the video, the former model wrote: “My happiest day of 2023,” immersing her followers in the intensity of that moment that marked her return to freedom.

The recording, dated September 13 of last year, offers a glimpse of the end of a chapter in Emma Coronel’s life.

She shares her freedom online

This was the day that the capo’s wife left the halfway house where she was serving the last phase of her sentence.

The spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Randilee Giamusso, confirmed the news to the media in a statement.

“We can confirm that Emma Coronel Aispuro was released from the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons today, September 13, 2023.”

The former beauty queen, known for her marriage to the infamous drug trafficker, shared her relief and joy at being released.

Her electronic ankle bracelet was removed

Removing her ankle bracelet symbolized not only the end of a period of restriction and surveillance, but also the beginning of a new phase in Coronel Aispuro’s life.

It is worth mentioning that one of the keys to Coronel’s freedom was that she accepted a plea agreement with the United States Government.

Likewise, El Chapo’s wife acknowledged her cooperation in activities linked to money laundering and drug trafficking.
