Jackson County authorities indicate that about 12 hours later, the man realized that hiding the body was not the right thing to do and finally dared to call 911. Azael, a resident of the city of Jefferson, confessed that he had his girlfriend’s body in his vehicle.

According to local outlet, JacksonHeraldTODAY, Azael told the operator that he had been drinking with her and the night before she suddenly died. His initial plan was to leave the body somewhere that no one would associate with him.

The case is under intense investigation
