The video, that has gone viral on social media, shows a woman in front of a hill with raised hands, allegedly trying to stop the landslide while others present warn her.

«Lady, be careful, everything is going to fall!» the witnesses shouted desperately as the woman is swept away in the rubble.

She was identified as Santusa Nina Huallpa, 36, after her remains were found buried under tons of rocks, dirt and mud in Huancarani, Paucartambo, in the southern mountains of Peru.

According to El Tiempo, the tragedy actually occurred in 2018, but it has recently resurfaced on social media.
