He is the son of one of the most important journalists in the history of Mexican media, Jacobo Zabludovsky.
Abraham Zabludovsky Nerubay is remembered as the host of various news programs on Televisa, such as 24 Horas de la Tarde.
From 1998 to 2000, he had his own show and when journalist Guillermo Ortega resigned from the nightly news, he applied to take his place.
However, the network’s president Emilio Azcárraga Jean had other plans, so Abraham resigned in March 2000.

Journalist Abraham Zabludovsky founded the weekly magazine Época in 1991, which he headed until 1998. A year later, he started the news program De la A a la Z on Radio 13.
It’s worth noting that he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
Additionally, in 1997, he received the National Journalism Award, but little is known about his career after leaving Televisa.

Was his life in danger?
The last known information about journalist Abraham Zabludovsky is from September 2018 when he urgently needed O- or B- blood.
During that time, he identified himself as a film producer and he worked on the movie La Vida Precoz y Breve de Sabina Rivas.
This film, directed by Luis Mandoki, starred Joaquín Cosío and Greysi Mena and was released in November 2012.
It’s noteworthy that Abraham’s family did not comment on his health status when making the request for blood donations.
‘He was a hardworking man’
Due to a stroke, Jacobo Zabludovsky died on July 2, 2015, in Mexico City. He was 87 years old.
Upon arrival at the Israelite Pantheon, his son Abraham Zabludovsky expressed his feelings after his father’s death.
«My father was a hardworking man, very cultured, very respectful of others, he came from humble origins, he never forgot where he came from.»
The journalist also said that Jacobo couldn’t comprehend his life without his work, as his career was his identity.
Abraham Zabludovsky fondly remembers his father
On that occasion, Abraham Zabludovsky revealed that he had asked Jacobo a while back how often he thought about his father. He said every day.
«I will do the same, and the tribute that will be paid to him, I will pay it every day,» the journalist said.
According to El Universal, Abraham also said that his father was one of the great journalists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

What is Abraham Zabludovsky doing today?
According to Debate, after leaving Televisa, Abraham Zabludovsky devoted himself to his personal businesses, including a bus company.
As of today, it seems he is continuing on that path, as there are no signs of him on social media. His last post on X (formerly Twitter) was in 2016.
