At the beginning of this year RBD fans got surprising news when the group announced its 2023 tour.

The pop group broke up in 2008, but this year they performed at venues in the U.S., Brazil and Mexico.

Just a few hours ago, the trailer for Por Siempre RBD was released on YouTube. It’s a Christmas special from the Soy Rebelde Tour. So where and when can you watch it?.

Anahí, Dulce María, Maite Perroni, Christian Chávez and Christopher Uckermann reunited for the 2023 tour.

Poncho Herrera, was noticeably absent after he rejected the invitation to focus fully on acting — still he wished his former colleagues the best.

The Soy Rebelde Tour started on August 25 at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas.

Other cities where they performed included Chicago, New York, Miami and Los Angeles. It was a total frenzy.

Maite Perroni talked to Billboard about the tour

In an interview with Billboard, actress and singer Maite Perroni said that they are excited about this new stage in their careers.

«It’s a new era that makes us really excited and it’s a new opportunity to share the stage once again and feel a unique energy,» she said.

On the other hand, the singer commented that life has cycles and, after having been together for so long, this is a new chapter for everyone.

«Now, the time [for the reunion] is perfect because we’re now more conscious, more mature,» she continued.

It all started at her wedding

Although there was always a rumor of a tour, which would end up becoming Soy Rebelde Tour, there were never any formal plans.

It wasn’t until Maite Perroni’s wedding that the other members of RBD, except for Poncho Herrera, saw it as a possibility.

They planned it in a record time of only a month and a half.

According to Billboard, the last time they were on tour, they raised $72.5 million and sold over 1.5 million tickets.

Finally, Maite Perroni said that, with the Soy Rebelde Tour, both she and her colleagues are closing a spectacular chapter in their lives.

«Our intention this time around is to enjoy it to the fullest, to share, thank everyone and have some sort of closure that I don’t think we had last time around.»

It is worth remembering that tickets at their various concerts sold out almost immediately.

As mentioned earlier, the trailer for Por Siempre RBD was released on YouTube. It’s a Christmas special from the Soy Rebelde Tour.

It is concert documentary that will be released on Monday, December 25 on ViX.

It showcases some of their most outstanding performances in Mexico, including the show on December 21 at the Estadio Azteca.
