A Latino driver from Georgia is in the mess of his life after being arrested for trying to ramming a woman’s car with her three children inside. The suspect was identified by Cobb County authorities as 35-year-old Juan Manuel Martinez.

According to local police reports, it all started when María Martínez tried to flee from the suspect. He chased her in his truck for several miles, until he caught up with her and literally forced her into a parking lot, where he maliciously hit her car, court records show.

Juan Manuel, a resident of Marietta, Georgia, was driving a 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 at the time. After purposely hitting the victim’s car with her kids inside, he fled without even taking a second to check if someone had been injured.

As soon as he felt that he had hit the other vehicle, the heartless man left the scene in a hurry, knowing that it was only a matter of minutes before the police arrived at the scene. Today he faces multiple serious charges

The suspect was arrested and charged with several serious crimes, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (as his vehicle is considered in this case), cruelty to children in the first degree and hit and run.

The authorities confined him to the Cobb County Jail where, as of Monday, he was still imprisoned. He was denied bail due to the seriousness of the charges he faces.
