Initially it was believed that the singer had taken his life by jumping from the tenth floor of a building.

Authorities also thought that he had killed Carlos Molnar, his friend and bassist for the reggae band Zion TPL.

Over the years, the murder-suicide theory was questioned due to the strange circumstances surrounding the discovery of the bodies.

Améstica, who was romantically involved with Molnar, also gave conflicting statements.

Now the Venezuelan Public Prosecutor has thrown out the murder-suicide theory and Améstica released a shocking confession, providing explicit details of the horrendous crime.

Améstica’s video confession reveals that, after drugging and stabbing both musicians, she sought her brother’s help to make it look like a murder-suicide

She said he «arrived at the property in the company of three officers of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) who advised him on the alteration of the scene in exchange for $1,000 each.»

«They finished arranging the scene in a way to make it look like a murder-suicide, meaning that they stabbed Carlos a few more times,» she said, referring to her brother and the Sebin officials.

«Guillermo stabbed Molnar and gave Canserbero’s body a blow with a pipe that disfigured his face, with the purpose of simulating a fight between them,» Natalia Améstica stated in her confession.

«Then we were told how to throw him out of the window to complete the murder-suicide scene,» Améstica added.

«My brother left the apartment unable to bear the scene, while I changed my appearance and recreated the moment, asking the neighbors for help.»

«During that period, the CICPC arrived, aligning themselves with my brother, who offered them $10,000 to finish the manipulation of the scene, already arranged by the Sebin officials.»

Canserbero’s former manager added: «This involved me stepping on the blood on the floor and leaving footprints in the direction of the window.»

«After these events, I fled to Chile terrified convinced that the truth would come to light,» she said in the video.

«In March, the Ombudsman’s Office reopened the case, they called me and I returned trusting the versions of the Prosecutor’s Office and the CICPC that maintained that it was a murder-suicide.»

«Thus, I provided the necessary statements for reopening the case,» Natalia concluded. See the video confession HERE.
