In a world where diversity and representation are increasingly lauded, here is a group of celebrities who are lesbians, some of whom are well-known in the entertainment world.

Some less famous women have decided to step forward and share their truth with the public — that they do not identify as heterosexual.

These courageous women have chosen different ways to express their sexual orientation, contributing to the visibility and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community.

These are six women who are challenging stereotypes in the world of entertainment.

Cara Delevingne and Michelle Rodriguez are famous lesbians

We’ll start with two Hollywood stars who have shone on the big screen, and you probably know them from various films.

1.  Actress Cara Delevingne, whose first public same-sex relationship — with actress Michelle Rodriguez —  came to light in 2014.

They were nervous about going public, but both women have since been very open about identifying as bisexual and they have both dated men and women.

2. Michelle Rodriguez herself is the second on our list of LGBTQ+ celebrities. In 2006, she insisted that she was not gay, however she came out as bi a few years later.

3. Since she graduated from playing Hannah Montana in 2011, actress and singer Miley Cyrus hasn’t stopped expressing her sexuality both on and off stage.

In 2015 Cyrus announced that she identified as gender fluid and has become a passionate and vocal advocate for various LGBTQ+ issues.

4. After starring in the Twilight saga and having a very public relationship with her co-star Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart joined the list of celebrities who are lesbians.

Stewart has had several relationships with women since then and is currently engaged to screenwriter Dylan Meyer.

5. There are some Hispanic celebrities who are lesbians too! It’s been rumored that Dr. Polo is in a relationship with her personal assistant, Marlene Key.

Caso Cerrado is a popular Telemundo television show that quickly became a hit thanks to Ana María Polo’s engaging hosting.

On one occasion, Dr. Polo made her opinion on revealing one’s sexual orientation very clear: «I don’t think anyone has to come out of any closet.»

«I don’t believe anyone has an obligation to come out. When do we see people say they are heterosexual? Asking someone to come out as gay is offensive,» she added.

6. Finally, there is Montserrat Oliver, the beloved Mexican television host who has been in a same-sex relationship since 2015.

Montserrat is one of Mexico’s most well-known businesswomen and presenters, having appeared on various TV shows and soap operas.

Speculation about her sexual orientation and her relationship with Bárbara Coppel, another famous face, have persisted for years.

Currently, the host of Reto 4 Elementos is happily married to Yaya Kosikova, a Slovakian model who she has been with for over half a decade.
