Jorge García Cárdenas is one of Mexico’s most recognized fashion designers and costume designers.
Throughout his over fifty-year career, he has ‘dressed’ numerous celebrities from the entertainment world.
Among them are Sasha Montenegro, Lupita D’Alessio, Thalía, Verónica Castro, María Félix, and many more.
Recently, Mitzy, as he is better known, confessed to journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante that he stopped being gay upon converting to Christianity.
Jorge García Cárdenas: «I Left Homosexuality»

Gustavo Adolfo Infante shared with his colleagues on the program «Sale el Sol» that Mitzy assured him that he had left homosexuality.
Neither Ana María Alvarado nor Joana Vega-Biestro believed him. The journalist defended himself by saying, «Well, that’s what he told me.»

According to TV Notas, the designer is even looking for a female partner.
Before concluding this topic, Ana María Alvarado commented that, in this case, Mitzy might be bisexual.
It didn’t take long for this news to go viral on social networks. Many congratulated Mitzy for ‘leaving’ being gay.
However, there were those who criticized the Mexican fashion designer heavily:
«Everyone becomes repentant when they’re old,» «I don’t believe him, he’s still who he is,» «That guy deserves life in prison.»
On the other hand, a netizen recalled that the Mexican singer Yuri also changed when she became Christian.
The fact that someone has ‘stopped’ being gay, as Mitzy says happened to him, is not the only one that has occurred in the artistic medium.
According to Infobae, the journalist Mauricio Clark revealed in 2018 that he was no longer homosexual.
But if something brought him a number of criticisms, it was his defense of conversion therapies.
Later, he regretted this statement and, like designer Mitzy, said he stopped being gay for God.
