According to El Mundo, when Amber Heard and Johnny Depp first met, she had been dating photographer Tasya Van Reen for two years.

It was at the 25th-anniversary gala of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) that she publicly acknowledged their relationship.
