According to Alfredo Adame, the controversy arose from his son’s statements, which he considers false, as he denies being homophobic.

Last March, it was announced that the Gay Pride LGBTTTI+ CDMX Committee had extended an invitation to the actor to attend the march.

This was a significant gesture, considering that Sebastián Adame, the actor’s openly gay son, has stated that his father has not accepted his sexual orientation.

The controversy has highlighted the complexity of family relationships and the diversity of opinions that can exist within the same family.

In recent statements, Sebastián Adame described his father as «a homophobic, transphobic and misogynistic person.»

He has stated that his father completely rejected the possibility of participating in the march in support of sexual and gender diversity.

However, Alfredo Adame has responded to these allegations and has vehemently denied being homophobic. Will it cost his son his last name?

The actor argues that he respects diversity and has no problem with his son’s sexual orientation.

It’s clear that the relationship between Alfredo Adame and his son Sebastián is marked by deep conflicts, especially regarding the the young man’s sexual orientation.

The invitation from the Gay Pride LGBTTTI+ CDMX Committee to Alfredo Adame raised questions about whether it was a genuine gesture of inclusion and support.

It could be interpreted as an attempt to generate controversy and publicity for the event, according to infobae.

The controversy has sparked various reactions among the public, with some expressing their support for Sebastián Adame and his right to express his opinion about his father.

In response to this, the actor stated that this was all orchestrated by his son and an irresponsible «journalist» who pushed his son to say that he was homophobic.

«It was created by Sebastián and by a journalist, who is not really a journalist, who is irresponsible, who took him and brought him on the show to say that I had said I was homophobic,» Alfredo said.

«And that I had scolded him when all that happened was that I defended him,» the actor added in an interview on Siéntese Quien Pueda.

Likewise, the former Hoy presenter stated that when his son revealed that he is gay, they had dinner together, attended events together and he supported him throughout.
