The murder of Stephany Nicole, a 16-year-old Venezuelan teenager, has shocked the community of Austell, Georgia.
The young girl was allegedly murdered by her stepfather, Alejandro Mario Bencomo Aguilar, 57.
Cindy Villalobos, Stephany’s older sister, shared details about her sister in a recent interview with Univision.
“We called her Nico, she was the youngest in the family, daddy’s, mommy’s, and her brother’s favorite,” Cindy commented.

She described Stephany as “a very polite girl, with a beautiful heart, very sensitive.”
Despite the distance, Cindy and Stephany spoke every day.
Cindy shared that her sister emigrated to the United States three years ago with their mother and stepfather.
Alejandro Mario Bencomo Aguilar, who would become her killer, had met Stephany’s mother in Venezuela.
“They had been together for seven years,” said Cindy. “He wasn’t a stranger; my mom trusted Alejandro completely.”
She revealed that her mother had planned to leave Alejandro Mario Bencomo Aguilar the day before the crime.
“My mom called me to let me know she was going to leave Alejandro because they argued a lot,” she explained.
According to Cindy, she had noticed from the first time she met Alejandro that he was a “very jealous and insecure man.”
Alejandro Mario Bencomo Aguilar had even damaged personal belongings of his partner.

Cindy added, “We believe he survived because he has to pay in life for what he did to Nico.”
