The recent murder of TV presenter Jesse Baird and his boyfriend Luke Davies has shocked all of Australia.

The host’s ex-boyfriend, police officer Beaumont Lamarre-Condon, has been charged with the double murder.

According to El Mundo, the TV presenter and his boyfriend had been reported missing for several days before their bodies were found.

After four days of intense searching, police found the bodies of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, who worked as a flight attendant.

Beaumont Lamarre-Condon cooperated by providing information that led police to their bodies, which he placed in surf bags and covered with debris.

Upon searching Baird’s house, authorities noticed that several pieces of furniture were out of place, a sign that there had been a struggle.

Before becoming a TV presenter, Jesse Baird worked as a soccer referee. It is not known for sure if he was born in 1997 or 1998.

He spent his childhood and adolescence in Melbourne, Australia, and graduated from Loyola College in 2015.

Four years later, he earned a Bachelor of Education with a specialization in theater and media from La Trobe University.

In early 2017, he moved to Brisbane to start a career in television.

It didn’t take long for Jesse Baird make his mark as a TV presenter and a reporter on various Network 10 programs.

In 2017, he joined the cast of Totally Wild, a children’s show, where he teamed up with Stacey Thomson.

Later, in 2019, he was part of the game show Gamify, which aired on 10 Peach.

Moreover, he served as a red carpet reporter on Studio 10. The show last aired in December.

The last image Jesse Baird posted on his official Instagram account was on February 18, four days before police began searching for him.

The TV presenter had just over 9,000 followers, with whom he shared only 128 posts, including photos and videos.

Here, he appears with his boyfriend, Luke Davies, at the Summer Carnival in Sydney, Australia.

Little did Jesse know that he would lose his life days later, as he wrote: «Pink > Taylor,» referring to the fact that he prefers Pink to Taylor Swift.

Jesse’s fans bid him a final farewell on his last social media post.

One person commented that they were thankful he and his boyfriend were finally found so they could have a proper burial.

«Rest in peace, guys. Fly high. Together for eternity, and no ex-psychopath can take this away from us,» they wrote.

Lastly, one person commented that they were very sorry this happened to them.
