She also acknowledged that she loves, and is attracted to, the women in her life as individuals — leading many to think that it’s only a matter of time before she comes out as a lesbian.

«I’m physically attracted to them. But I’m also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence,» she said.

«I’ve never felt feminine»

In another part of this interview, the ‘Bad Guy’ singer said that the public scrutiny she faced during her adolescence was «weird and upsetting.»

She confessed that she didn’t want people to have access to her body, not even visually. That is why she developed her signature style of wearing baggy clothing.

«I wasn’t strong enough and secure enough to show it. If I had shown it at that time, I would have been completely devastated if people had said anything.»

The young artist admitted that she has never felt particularly desirable or traditionally feminine.

Billie Eilish is coming into her own

Near the end of the interview, Billie Eilish said that she has to convince herself that she is a pretty girl… and we all know she’s beautiful.

«I identify as ‘she/her’ and things like that, but I’ve never really felt like a girl,» commented the’What Was I Made For’ singer.

This song, which is on the Barbie movie soundtrack, sparked all kinds of reactions among her fans.

She shared that it has been very moving and that she feels it has helped bring people together: «I feel like I helped bring people together, and it felt so special. I wasn’t expecting to have women around the world feel connected.»

She feels that she is now «waking up»

«I feel like I’m becoming a person I really love and doing things I feel really proud of.»

To top it off, the singer, who will turn 22 on December 18, said that she feels like she is just now «waking up.»
