A new ‘monster’ on wheels will hit the roads in the US. Ford is releasing a special F-150 Heritage Edition to celebrate 75 years of the company producing the powerful truck. The F series will bring back the best of the old school.

A range of two-tone F-150 Heritage Edition trucks will be offered in 2023 to mark the occasion, according to Fox News, which also noted that the F-Series was first launched in 1948 as the F-1 and has endured through 14 generations to become the best-selling American vehicle of all time.

In fact, the 40 millionth F-Series truck was built this year and has already been sold in Texas. Now, the Heritage Edition is an appearance package that will be offered on the stellar F-150 XLT and will be available in five color combinations with dark roofs and upper body panels, Fox News detailed.

Race Red and Antimatter Blue will be combined with Carbonized Gray, while Atlas Blue, Avalanche and Area 51 will get Agate Black contrasts. The black and gray interiors will be matched with accent paint, according to the report.

There will also be commemorative logos on the center console, windshield and infotainment system home screen. Orders will open in mid-July with prices not yet announced and the first trucks should be delivered in the fall, Fox News explained.

Puros Autos also reported on the creation of the F-150 Heritage Edition and stated that it would not be an extremely expensive high-end model, as it will be available exclusively on XLT models, the second lowest trim level in the F-150 spectrum.

On the other hand, if you prefer trucks that are more environmentally friendly but just as powerful, the electric Rivian R1T seems to be poised to compete with models such as its arch-rival Tesla Cybertruck, which combines ruggedness and practicality with performance worthy of sports cars, according to Agencia Reforma.

The Rivian R1T has a three-volume design in which the front is visually separated. The cargo box has two 120-volt power outlets and an air compressor with a maximum pressure of 150 psi. Rivian, touts the truck as the “world’s first electric adventure vehicle” with a starting price of $67,500. They also indicate that the truck can be configured for smooth driving around town or in off-road mode for hitting the trails. In total, it has eight driving modes to be adapted to the preferences of each driver or to road conditions.
