Camila Fernández Canelo Álvarez: She Apologizes to the Boxer

On this occasion, Canelo Álvarez chose Camila Fernández, the granddaughter of the late Vicente Fernández.

Unfortunately, the young artist sang «Profanar con su planta tu tierra» when she should have said «Profanar con su planta tu suelo.»

Criticism on social media was quick to follow…

“This weekend was one of the most special of my life,” said Alejandro Fernández’s daughter.

In her post, she shared that she was able to sing and feel the energy «alongside two of the greatest in our country.»

Before apologizing to Canelo, Camila Fernández had a few words for her father:

“If today I am a resilient and brave woman, it is largely thanks to you, who have taught me to rise from every fall.”
