Beatriz Adriana Flores de Saracho, known simply as Beatriz Adriana, is a well-known Mexican singer.

From a very young age she showed aptitude for singing, to the extent that Angélica María supported her and took her to Mexico City.

However, a year later, when she was only 12, her mother died of a heart attack.

Later on, she lost beloved son, a blow she never managed to overcome due to the terrible circumstances surrounding it.

Beatriz Adriana was El Buki’s first wife

Perhaps few remember that Beatriz Adriana was the first wife of singer and songwriter Marco Antonio Solís, or  ‘El Buki.’

According to Debate, the couple married in 1983 and divorced just four years later.

They have a daughter Beatriz, who decided to follow in her famous parents’ footsteps in the music industry.

During their time together, El Buki produced two albums for her called Arrepentida y Sola and A Punto De.

Why did she leave Marco Antonio Solís?

According to various sources, Beatriz Adriana and El Buki divorced due to his cheating.

It was said that Marco Antonio Solís had a relationship with singer Marisela, whose first album he produced and with whom he sang ‘La Pareja Ideal.’

As if that weren’t enough, Beatriz Adriana described him as an absent father to their daughter, Beatriz.

In addition to his alleged infidelities and long absences, she also said Marco Antonio was violent towards her.

El Buki was not her first husband

It is worth noting that, although she was El Buki’s first wife, it was not Beatriz Adriana’s first marriage.

As a result of her first marriage, of which there is not much information, her son Leonardo was born.

According to El Heraldo de México, in an interview she gave to the program Con un Nudo en la Garganta, Leonardo became friends with someone named Aquiles Bergis.

He offered to start a business with him, so Leonardo traveled to Tijuana, Baja California to talk about it.

Beatriz Adriana’s son was murdered

In this same interview, Beatriz Adriana revealed that on July 14, 2000, she received a call from the Bergis family.

Aquiles’ brother told the singer that they had kidnapped him and Leonardo. He asked her to travel to Tijuana.

The kidnappers demanded $800,000 to release the two men, but before that amount could be raised, they were both killed.

«They tied his little hands and shot him in the head… they even stole his shoes,» she said, unable to contain her tears.

According to El Heraldo de México, authorities found the bodies of Beatriz Adriana’s son Leonardo and Aquiles in an empty lot.

The investigation concluded that Bergis helped plan Leonardo’s kidnapping.

He hoped to pay off a debt he owed for 600 kilos of marijuana with the ransom money.

However, the kidnappers did not want to wait, and they killed them both. Beatriz Adriana’s son was tragically murdered.
