People may not associate the name of singer and television host Aline Hernández with the Trevi-Andrade clan.

However, the health coach revealed what was happening regarding the singer and her music producer even before Karina Yapor came forward.

Originally from Mexico City, where she was born on September 5, 1975, Erika Aline married Sergio Andrade in 1990.

She wasn’t even 15 years old and he was 35. Fortunately, she realized in time that something was not right.

Aline Hernández’s book La Gloria Por El Infierno

In April 1998 Aline Hernández’s book La Gloria Por El Infierno came out, revealing scandalous details about the Trevi Andrade clan.

According to this book, which she co-wrote with journalist Rubén Aviña, Gloria Trevi did something no once could have imagined.

Aline says singer managed to convince her to have relations with Sergio Andrade, who was still married to Mary Boquitas.

But that wasn’t all… Hernández went on TV Azteca’s Ventaneando to publicly accuse her attackers.

«Gloria brought me into this circle»

On the popular show, hosted by Pati Chapoy, Aline Hernández didn’t hold back when talking about the Trevi-Andrade clan.

First, she claimed that Gloria Trevi was the one who brought her into this circle, where she had the misfortune to meet Sergio.

«I was discovering how they really were, little by little, as I was sinking into the mud, there was no way to escape,» she said.

The purpose of this Aline Hernández’s book was to reach teenagers and their families so they could see that not everything in showbiz is rosy.

Aline claims she was living a nightmare

This was not all that Aline Hernández revealed about the Trevi-Andrade clan on Ventaneando.

The former backup singer revealed that, after being promised she would be a famous singer, she endured a living nightmare from the age of 13 to 17.

She also made an appeal to parents of the young girls who were still with Sergio Andrade at that time, including Gloria herself.

Among the girls she referred to were Marlene Calderón, the De La Cuesta sisters, Mary Boquitas and Sonia Ríos.

The scandal erupts

According to Debate, after Aline Hernández’s book was released, the media scandal turned into a legal case.

In 1999, Karina Yapor’s mother filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office in Chihuahua, Mexico.

She accused Sergio Andrade, Gloria Trevi, Mary Boquitas and Marlene Calderón of kidnapping, abuse and corruption of minors.

On January 13, 2000, all of them, except for Marlene, were arrested in Brazil. They were later extradited to Mexico.

Aline goes all-in against Gloria Trevi

Recently, with the release of Ellas Soy Yo,  Aline Hernández sent a veiled message to Gloria Trevi.

According to Publimetro, the former backup singer shared a surprising message on social media.

«No, she is not me! I sleep peacefully, I have not hidden anything, I have raised my voice for my sisters, I have not changed my story after a thousand times,» she declared.

To end her veiled message, Aline wrote that she has not lied to her audience: «No, she is not me,» she concluded.
