On this occasion, the interview that Marlene Calderón, a former backup singer for Gloria Trevi, gave to Adela Micha has resurfaced.
In one part of this conversation, the young woman, who is originally from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, told the journalist that TV Azteca bribed the girls of the Trevi Andrade clan.

First, Marlene Calderón recalled that she spent nine months in prison after the scandal involving the Trevi-Andrade clan.
«They took me to the cell. I didn’t declare anything, and people approached me again to tell me that if I said that Gloria and Sergio had raped me, I would be released right away.»
Next, in this video available on YouTube, a snippet from another interview that Marlene gave in 2000 is shared.
It also shows a ‘confession’ she made in 2004 that involved the music producer, who kept the girls under his thumb.
Marlene did not testify against Gloria
In another part of this interview, Marlene Calderón said that the most prudent thing she could have done was not to testify against Gloria Trevi.
«I was the only one. I know that all the girls of the Trevi-Andrade clan were pressured, it was the TV station (TV Azteca), and it was the government of the state of Chihuahua,» she said.
The former backup singer also said she knew that the young women were in a very difficult position, just as she was.
In another interview from 2017, the ‘Zapatos Viejos,’ singer said that she was against the girls exposing this case on television.
«I stayed on the sidelines»
Calmly, Marlene Calderón said that she stayed on the sidelines of all the accusations against Gloria Trevi and did not speak ill of her.
One day after the Mexican singer’s release, she sincerely wished her and Mary Boquitas the best from the bottom of her heart.
«I know they are very talented people who can do many things, and I hope they do very well in everything they do,» she revealed in 2004.
She also shared that she shook hands with both Gloria and Mary and couldn’t hold back the tears.
Marlene Calderón accuses TV Azteca of orchestrating everything
At the end of this interview, Marlene Calderón commented that she knew Gloria Trevi didn’t sign with «that company,» referring to TV Azteca.
«In a way, they might have been angry with her, but to what extent?» the former backup singer said to Adela Micha.
Returning to the interview the singer gave in 2017, it confirms Marlene’s claims regarding the benefits that TV Azteca obtained thanks to this scandal.
«What Pati Chapoy said is recorded on video. She laughed every time they talked about Gloria,» said lawyer Ray Thomas.
Marlene Calderón said she was pressured
To conclude this interview, Marlene Calderón told Adela Micha that she was under duress when she gave her statement.
«I said I had been an accomplice and that she (Gloria Trevi) and he (Sergio Andrade) were also involved,» she said.
She also revealed to Adela that she was satisfied because they had fulfilled a threat, as they had told her to attack to be set free.
«We were victims. I saw them mistreated as well. I saw abuses and everything, just like everyone else saw the same things I went through.»
