The injuries aggravated a pre-existing disc herniation, requiring spinal surgery.
Callihan’s lawyer, Robert Fickett, praised the jury’s verdict.
«The jury recognized the impact of Mrs. Callihan’s serious injuries on her life,» said Fickett.
Callihan now suffers daily pain that limits her activities.
This includes being unable to hold her grandchildren or walk her dog.
