According to Forbes, 2,668 people around the world have made their 2022 billionaires list. It includes incredibly wealthy personalities from all over the world and Elon Musk is in the first place.

It turns out that the 51-year-old businessman, investor and tycoon surpassed Jeff Bezos, who was in first place previously and has now fallen to number two for the first time in four years. This drop is due, according to Forbes, to a 3% drop in Amazon shares. His income is $219 billion (199.66 billion euros).

Elon Musk, owner of Tesla and SpaceX, said recently on Twitter that he will buy the Manchester United soccer club. The entrepreneur, prone to making unpredictable and provocative statements on the social network, tweeted: «And I’ll buy Manchester United, you’re welcome.»

Agencia Reforma reported that it is not clear if the world’s richest man was serious about publicly offering to buy the team. Neither Tesla nor the directors of the English club, owned by the Glazer family, have responded to an AFP query for the time being.

Tesla has made more than three million cars, CEO Elon Musk tweeted on Sunday. Of that total, the factory in Shanghai has manufactured one million, according to a tweet quoted by CNBC. “Congratulations to Giga Shanghai for building the millionth car! Total Teslas now exceeds 3 million,” Musk tweeted.

The Reforma Agency reported that Musk’s announcement comes after months of closures and parts shortages in China that have threatened Tesla’s vehicle production, and suggests that the factory in Shanghai is producing a significant number of new vehicles after opening in 2018.
