A lawyer announced that he is preparing $27 billion lawsuit on behalf of relatives of the victims and survivors of the tragic shooting that left 21 dead at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas last May.

Some of the families affected by the mass shooting that occurred at Robb Elementary School are now part of a major class action lawsuit announced on Sunday, August 21, that seeks to hold multiple law enforcement agencies accountable, as well as the manufacturer of the weapon used by gunman Salvador Ramos, reported KSAT.

“What we intend to do (is) to help serve this community, and that is to file a $27 billion civil rights lawsuit under our United States Constitution, one-of-a-kind in the whole world,” said attorney Charles Bonner of Bonner & Bonner Law.

According to KSAT, the civil rights attorney will not hold back, as he intends to file a class action lawsuit against anyone who may be held responsible for the massacre that happened inside Robb Elementary School on May 24.

“We have the school police, OK, Arredondo, we have the city police, and we have the sheriffs and we have the Texas Rangers, the DPS and we have the Border Patrol,” Charles Bonner announced to the local outlet on Sunday.

The defendants also include gun manufacturer Daniel Defense and Oasis Outback, where the shooter purchased the gun used in the massacre. “There will be some institutional defendants as well, such as school board or such as City Council or such as the City of the Uvalde,” said Bonner.

Attorney Charlos Bonner and his associate have been traveling to Uvalde from their California office for weeks, meeting with families at Pastor Daniel Myers’ church, Tabernáculo de Adoración. “Up to right now, there’s been no accountability, there’s no justice for those 19 children and the two teachers,” Myers said.

The suit is filed on constitutionality, as Charles Bonner stated that the rights of victims, survivors and their families under the 14th Amendment were violated. “People have a right to life under the 14th Amendment and what we’ve seen here is that the law enforcement agencies have shown a deliberate conscious disregard of the life,” the lawyer said.

The Bonner Law Firm is taking on this class action lawsuit with a team of other firms, including a local Uvalde law office and Everytown, a gun safety organization. “Everyone in this world are hurting and bleeding about what is happening here in Uvalde. And it’s up to us to make sure it doesn’t happen again,” Bonner added.

The lawsuit is still being drafted, and the lawyer will have to file claims in the coming days before officially presenting it in September, when the Department of Defense ends its investigation into the shooting by Salvador Ramos, who was killed in the school that day.
