During an interview with the conservative Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN), Trump launched into a harsh criticism of immigrants.
From his home in Mar-a-Lago, Trump made the remarks about «rough people,» coming from jails, prisons and mental institutions.
«You know, insane asylums, that’s Silence of the Lambs stuff,'» he added in the interview on Monday night.
Trump, who is emerging as the Republican nominee for president, reiterated his rejection of immigrants, saying, «We don’t want ‘em in this country.»

EFE noted that Trump compared the languages spoken by immigrants with languages «from the planet Mars.»
He insinuated that no one in the U.S. knows how to speak them.
«We don’t even have teachers of some of these languages. Who would think that? We have languages that are, like, from, from the planet Mars? Nobody, nobody knows how to, you know, speak it,” he declared.
The former president made these bizarre statements in addition to others about cities with large populations of immigrants suffering.
He claimed immigrants are ruining cities
Trump alleges that in cities with large populations of undocumented immigrants, such as New York, children do not attend school or play sports, reported EFE.
These statements come at a crucial time, just before Super Tuesday, where Republican and Democratic voters in several states will choose their preferred candidates.
President Joe Biden does not have a strong opponent for the Democratic nomination.
Trump stands out as the clear favorite among Republicans, significantly surpassing his rival Nikki Haley.
