A woman was arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in women’s underwear.

Leticia Martinez Perez, nicknamed the «Thong Thief,» was detained by Glendale police.

She is accused of stealing $14,000 in underwear from Victoria’s Secret stores.

The thefts occurred at shopping centers like Desert Sky Mall and Arrowhead Towne Center.

Series of Robberies at Glendale Shopping Centers

Glendale police link her to eight different robbery incidents.

The first robbery occurred on November 19, 2023.

Other robberies were recorded on January 23 (twice), January 26, January 31, February 1, and March 8.

The thong thief was arrested on May 15, reported ‘FOX 10’.

Arrest and Confession of the Thong Thief

Glendale police released videos of the robberies and Perez’s arrest.

In the interview with the police, Perez admitted to selling the underwear for profit.

Surveillance videos show a person filling a bag with products from the shelves of Victoria’s Secret.

Initially, during her arrest, Perez told the police she had never been to Glendale.
