There are also certain guidelines when paying with a SNAP card. The program is designed to meet essential needs of users, so you can only buy products such as meats, vegetables, dairy products and breads.

Shopping at Publix with SNAP benefits is quite simple but first you need to separate all the items that can be paid for with the EBT card. Among these are different types of meat, snacks and beverages.

Items that cannot be purchased with the EBT card at Trader Joe’s include alcoholic beverages, vitamin supplements, medicines, pet food, cleaning products, stationery and beauty products.
