Dole recalled 1,647 boxes of mixed salad that were sold under two different brand names. One is Simply Nature Organic Spring Mix in 16-ounce packages and Marketside Spring Mix which comes in 11-ounce and 5-ounce packages.

Consumers who may have purchased these types of Dole salad mixes included in the recall should look for the following identifiers on product packages: 11 oz Marketside Spring Mix: W167011 with BIUB: 6/30/2022; 5oz Marketside Spring Mix: W16709A and W16709B with BIUB: 6/29/2022; Simply Nature Organic Spring Mix 16oz: W167011 with BIUB: 6/30/2022 and Simply Nature Organic Spring Mix 16oz: W168011 with BIUB: 01/7/2022.

The Dole salad mix products included in the recall were available in the states of Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Tennessee. However, given that the recall announcement was issued a month ago and it is a perishable product, it is unlikely that retail stores will still have stock.

Similarly, the FDA indicated that if you still have packages of Spring Mix at home, they should not be consumed and should be thrown away immediately or returned to the place where they were purchased for a refund. Filed Under: Dole salad recall
