  • Police brutality leaves Peruvian family in crisis.
  • A terrible tragedy.
  • Here are the details.

A Peruvian family residing in Florida has been plunged into a deep crisis following an incident of police brutality that occurred on September 10.

Pamela Díaz, aunt of Henry Urrunaga Díaz, who has created a GoFundMe campaign, denounced the violence inflicted by a police officer on her husband, Orlando Díaz (72 years old), and her son Francisco Díaz (30), who is autistic.

According to Pamela’s account, the family was stopped by a police officer because Orlando’s driver’s license had expired.

The situation escalated when the officer began violently arresting Orlando, throwing him to the ground and causing him to lose consciousness.

When Francisco Díaz attempted to defend his father, the officer also assaulted him, using a stun gun on him three times, despite his mother screaming that he was autistic.

Both Orlando and Francisco were taken to the hospital, where the former was treated for his injuries, and the latter was falsely accused of assaulting several officers.

The family has since faced mounting medical and legal costs as they try to cope with this situation.
