In an exclusive interview with MundoNOW, Ramírez expressed her excitement about being part of the sequel, which premieres on July 19 on Prime Video.

The popular telenovela “Yo soy Betty, la fea” is back, but this time with a new chapter that promises to reveal what has happened to the characters after 25 years.

“It’s a new story where we will see what has happened to these characters during all this time,” the actress said, showing her excitement for the project.

Ramírez explained that in this new version, Marcela has undergone a healing process from the heartbreak that deeply affected her in the first part of the story.

“The difference between the Marcela of before and this new version is that the heartbreak has achieved its goal. After 20 or 25 years, Marcela’s heartbreak has been healing,” she shared.

Natalia Ramírez also mentioned that, although the intense love Marcela felt for Armando left scars, her character has found a way to heal.

The new series, available in over 240 countries and territories, will feature the original cast, including Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello.

The cast will also include Julián Arango and Lorna Cepeda, among other original actors, who will reprise their roles to continue the story.
