One year has passed since Julián Figueroa’s death
Maribel Guardia’s message highlighted the unique closeness she and her only son shared.
On Instagram, Maribel Guardia shared a series of touching photographs of her son Julián.
They range from the late singer’s childhood to just before his death, reflecting the love that united them.
Mired in pain, Maribel Guardia acknowledged how difficult it was to lose her only son.

«I have thought about you, prayed and cried for 365 days and nights, I know that 12 months are just the beginning of this immense love, which grows more every day,» her post begins.
«And that weaves a bridge full of sighs and prayers to where you are. My Steppenwolf, Cachalotito, Tato, my champion,” added the actress.
«I know that on the other side of the bridge, there is no pain or suffering, only light, joy and plenitude,» Maribel Guardia continued in her post.
The actress talked about how her son is always with her in her heart.
An emotional tribute on social media
«I always find you close to me in the smallest things, as well as in the largest, in nature, in your tree that you loved so much in the garden,» she said.
«In every space of my belly that saw you grow, in every corner of the house and of my heart that keeps you forever,» she went on.
«Don’t worry about me, your beautiful son José Julián, Marco, Mima, Maribel and Ime always accompany me. I have 365 reasons to tell you, ‘Your soul is alive.'»
In addition to Maribel, her husband Marco Chacón shared a tribute on Facebook, with some previously unpublished photos.

«Life is short for those who live 100 years, as it is also short for those who live less. It was an honor to have you Julián, for the brief space it was,” Marco shared on Instagram.
«You taught me many things, to be a father by vocation, to not run away from my destiny, to be a man who teaches by example and who never shone in absence,» he added.
«Here we remember you and miss you with the awareness of finding you again in eternal light. Forever ours, beloved son,» he concludes.
