Last July, Lili Estefan confessed to Javier Ceriani that she had already forgiven her ex-husband for the infidelity he committed.

Although Lili Estefan has left the past behind, on social networks, her story has gone viral.

Especially the part where she acknowledges how devastating it was to discover her husband’s infidelity when her bosses at the Univision network were already aware.

And even some photos of Lorenzo with another girl had arrived.

Lili recalled that it was her ex-husband who told her everything: “He says to me: ‘A paparazzi took photos of me with another woman and is asking for 200 thousand dollars for the photos'».

The presenter assured that when she asked him who the woman was, he replied: “Nobody important.”

A version that Lorenzo also gave to Gloria Estefan with whom he spoke one night before telling Lili.

«I asked him if he was in love with the woman and he said, ‘No,'» recalled Gloria, who advised him to confess to his wife as soon as possible.

«After I defended him for hours in front of my boss and the lawyers. I got divorced and never had a conversation with him again,” Lili said.

Almost six years after that episode in her life, Lili Estefan has now overcome the media storm that the end of her marriage implied.

How did she overcome it?

Lili recognized that time was key in her process and took the opportunity to reveal the advice she would give to Shakira after facing a divorce in the midst of infidelity.

The journalist also confessed that it was her job in El Gordo y la flaca which helped her get over the divorce in the best way.

She felt humiliated

Lili received supportive comments in the video that went viral on social networks where she talks about infidelity.
