According to TV y Novelas, actress Adriana Laffan was hospitalized for 11 days for what seemed like a routine flu.
Her daughter María José, also known as Majo, said that her mother’s health began to deteriorate after she started having severe coughing fits.
In short, the artist had pneumonia that worsened to the point where she couldn’t breathe.
However, Majo was able to say goodbye to her mother, who appeared in productions such as Mujer, Casos de la Vida Real and Cachún Cachún Ra Ra.
‘I told her I would always love her’
Adriana Laffan’s daughter told TV Notas what her mother’s last days were like.
She said it was all very sudden and started as a flu, so they decided to take her to the hospital on October 21.
«That day (November 1), she had been sleeping since the day before, and I saw her like a flame that is slowly going out,» Majo said.
Finally, she said she kissed her and hugged her: «I told her I would always love her.»

The National Association of Actors (ANDA) announced Adriana Laffan’s death on Instagram, although they did not mention her cause of death.
Two of the first celebrities to react to the sad news were actresses Diana Ferreti and Joana Benedek.
«Rest in peace. Blessings, Adriana,» wrote Cecilia Gabriela, while Ricardo Silva described her as a beautiful human being.
