Hours after two young siblings were killed at a birthday party in Michigan, their family sprang into action.

A 66-year-old woman, who was allegedly intoxicated, crashed into the Swan Creek Boat Club.

Now the children’s aunt has launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover funeral and hospital expenses.

The GoFundMe account for siblings Lana and Zayn Phillips, who were killed at a birthday party in Michigan, was created on Sunday, April 21.

Their aunt, Diane Harrington, organized this fundraiser titled ‘Support for the family of Lana and Zayn.’

As of today, nearly $230,000 has been raised out of a $250,000 goal. Four thousand people have made donations.

The mother of Lana and Zayn, Mariah, as well as their older brother, Jayden, are still in critical condition.

Finally, Diane shared the purpose behind creating this GoFundMe after the tragedy in Michigan.

«Monies raised will help give Lana and Zayn a proper funeral and burial service.»

She added that any remaining funds will assist the family with housing, as well as covering additional surgeries not covered by insurance and other unforeseen expenses.

Before signing off, Diane expressed gratitude to everyone for their support during these extremely difficult days.
