On her Instagram account, Sandoval shared photos of family moments with her daughter and her mother, Doña Amalia, distancing herself from the media noise surrounding the news.

«I couldn’t be happier when I’m here,» she said while walking along Madrid’s Gran Vía.

The divorce was filed by Nick Hernández on November 18 in Broward County, Florida, as initially reported by journalist Mandy Fridmann and confirmed by People en Español.

Carolina Sandoval revealed that she found out about the filing shortly after landing in Madrid, describing the moment as a complete surprise:

«I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about.»

The relationship, which began with both grieving the loss of their parents, was built on challenges from the start.

Carolina Sandoval acknowledged that while there were happy moments, the «perfect couple» image seen on social media hid significant problems.

«The photos you saw were minutes of happiness, but what happened before or after was different,» she admitted.

For his part, Nick Hernández told Las Top News that he tried to save the marriage but was unsuccessful.

«I love her with all my heart, but a relationship takes two. We weren’t understanding each other,» he said.
