On June 29, a tragic event occurred in the municipality of Huixquilucan, State of Mexico.

Two alleged assailants, identified as Miguel Ángel “N,” alias “El Pecas,” and José Iván “N,” shot Paola.
The General Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) reported in a statement that both individuals have been linked to the case.

«The Public Ministry presented evidence against both individuals, and the Judicial Authority decided to initiate legal proceedings against them,» stated the Edomex Prosecutor’s Office.

On the night of July 4, authorities captured ‘El Pecas’ and José Iván ‘N’ in the same municipality where they committed the crime.
These individuals were placed in preventive detention on Saturday, July 6, according to reports provided by the prosecutor’s office.
Paola Salcedo was attacked after leaving a show at the “Gran Circo Bardum,” in the El Arenal neighborhood, accompanied by her son and an employee.
The attack occurred when Paola resisted the robbery, causing Miguel Ángel ‘N’ to shoot her, reported ‘Infobae’.
Although a doctor transported her to the hospital, Paola, 33, succumbed to her injuries.
The autopsy revealed that a firearm projectile caused the injuries to her chest and right lung.
After the attack, the aggressor fled on a motorcycle driven by José Iván ‘N’.
Thanks to video recordings, authorities identified the escape route of the motorcycle and located the culprits.
This enabled the issuance of arrest warrants and the execution of an operation on July 4 to carry out the arrests.
Police detained ‘El Pecas’ and José Iván and presented them before the court at the Tlalnepantla Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center.

The investigative process included interviews with witnesses and individuals close to the victim, leading to searches in various properties.
