Actress Barbara Rush, who won a Golden Globe in 1954, has passed away at the age of 97.
Her daughter, journalist Claudia Cowan, confirmed the sad news on social media.
«There’s another star shining on us tonight. My beautiful mother was called to heaven on Easter of all days,» Claudia wrote.

Actress Barbara Rush dies
Actress Barbara Rush was born on January 4, 1927 in Denver, Colorado.
As mentioned above, she won a Golden Globe for her appearance in the science fiction movie It Came from Outer Space.
Later, she appeared in the series Peyton Place, as well as in the soap opera All My Children, among other television shows.
She made her big screen debut at the age of 23 in the film The Goldbergs. May she rest in peace.

According to USA Today, actress Barbara Rush died Sunday in a senior care center in Westlake Village, California.
Her daughter Claudia Cowan shared that her mother had been battling dementia for a long time.
«I know she is at peace in a better place,» commented the Fox News journalist.
Lastly, she stated that Easter will now have a deeper meaning for her and her family.
