The 81st edition of the Golden Globes took place on January 7.

Bad news for Mexicans

In a night full of emotion and expectations, Christopher Nolan won Best Director with his impressive work Oppenheimer.
The Boy and the Heron conquered the hearts of audiences and critics, taking home the award for Best Motion Picture – Animated.
Mexican director Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster-Jones was also nominated in that category for Wish.
The captivating tune, What Was I Made For? won Best Original Song, a nod to the brilliant collaboration between Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell.

Steven Yeun was awarded Best Actor in a Limited Series for Beef, Matthew Macfadyen won Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series for Succession.

Ricky Gervais took home the prize for Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television for Armageddon, while Beef was crowned Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.
Sarah Snook shone as Best Actress in a Television Series – Drama thanks to her performance in Succession.
