Jainer Moisés Pinedo Vargas was known by his unique nickname: El Ingeniero Bailarín (The Dancing Engineer).
He had over 50,000 followers on his official Instagram account and more than 270,000 on TikTok.
A professional forestry engineer and a dance enthusiast, he collaborated with the tropical music group Explosión de Iquitos.
Unfortunately, the influencer died from complications of dengue fever after being bitten by a mosquito. He was 34 years old.
Could His Death Have Been Prevented?
According to a report by Antena 3, El Ingeniero Bailarín died from respiratory arrest due to fluid accumulation in the lungs.
It is believed he contracted dengue on a trip to the province of Condorcanqui, located in the Amazonas region of Peru.

Shortly thereafter, he developed pneumonia, which necessitated his admission to a nearby hospital.
As his condition did not improve but worsened, he was transferred to another hospital.
Regrettably, at this medical center, El Ingeniero Bailarín was diagnosed with pleural effusion and had to be moved to another hospital in Peru.
Despite being subjected to intensive care with antibiotics, mechanical ventilation, and constant attention, he ultimately passed away.
His family requested support from the authorities to transport his remains back to his hometown, Iquitos, in Peru.

El Ingeniero Bailarín Never Lost Faith
Despite his severe illness, El Ingeniero Bailarín remained hopeful of overcoming his disease.
It was on August 1 that he uploaded what would be his last video on social media.
«I’ve wanted to do this trend for a while, but couldn’t. Now with 20 percent energy, it can be done,» Jainer Moisés expressed.
