WEST VIRGINIA

Registration deadlines: 21 days prior to Election Day.

Where do I vote? http://apps.sos.wv.gov/Elections/Voter/FindMyPollingPlace

How can I vote? West Virginia allows absentee voting by mail with valid excuses, including reasons such as illness, travel, or participation in the Address Confidentiality Program. Applications for absentee ballots can be submitted online, via paper forms, or in-person and must be received by the clerk no later than the 6th day before the election.

Completed ballots must be returned in person to the county clerk’s office by the day before Election Day or postmarked by Election Day if returned by mail.

Voters with disabilities may opt for electronic ballot delivery and return.

Early in-person voting is available at designated locations starting from the 13th day before Election Day until 3 days prior. On Election Day, voting sites are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with the right to vote extended to those in line at closing time.
