Chuck Coleman Lost Control of His Plane

According to reports from La Vanguardia, Chuck Coleman was performing acrobatic maneuvers in his plane.

At one point, Tom Cruise’s flight instructor lost control and crashed into the ground.

Charles Thomas was just half a kilometer west of the Las Cruces airport in New Mexico.

Emergency services declared him dead at the scene of the accident.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has launched an investigation into the events.

Following Tom Cruise’s flight instructor’s death, the event was immediately suspended.

The airport was also closed for several hours.

In total, Charles had been in the air for four minutes, performing various maneuvers.

A video on social media shows the moment when Coleman’s plane started to make erratic movements in the air.

Despite already having a reputation as a flight instructor, he gained more fame from his work on Top Gun: Maverick.

In addition to training Tom Cruise, he also coached actors Miles Teller and Glen Powell.
