Following Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. elections, a video of him dancing quickly went viral on social media.
In the video, the Republican is seen performing some unique dance moves to the tune of YMCA by The Village People.
It didn’t take long before others began imitating him over the following days.
One of those imitators was U.S. national soccer team player Christian Pulisic, who danced like Trump after scoring a goal.

Christian Pulisic scored twice in the first half, and Tim Weah added a goal in his return to the U.S. national team after a red card suspension.
With this performance, the U.S. defeated Jamaica 4-2 on Monday night, securing a 5-2 aggregate score.

With this victory, the Stars and Stripes advanced to the semifinals of the CONCACAF Nations League.
Their next match is scheduled for March 20 in Inglewood, California.
After an assist from Weston McKennie, Christian Pulisic put the U.S. ahead in the 13th minute.
The AC Milan player beat Jamaican goalkeeper Andre Blake and doubled the lead with another assist from McKennie in the 33rd minute.
In what many interpreted as a nod to Trump, Pulisic began dancing like the former president.
Two of his teammates joined him in the dance, which even Argentine President Javier Milei has performed (SEE THE VIDEO HERE).
On another note, Donald Trump Jr. indirectly referenced Christian Pulisic’s dance through his X (formerly Twitter) account.
He was responding to a post by commentator Clay Travis.
Travis wrote that “ESPN will need to schedule mental health counseling sessions at its corporate headquarters” due to athletes celebrating with the Republican’s dance.
“It turns out loving your country and fighting for it is awesome after all,” said Trump Jr.
