Costa Rican actress and singer Maribel Guardia shared sad news on social media.
It is worth remembering that on April 9 of last year, she unexpectedly lost her son, Julián Figueroa.
«Give my Julián a hug and lots of kisses and remind him how much I love him,» she wrote on her official Instagram account.

Maribel Guardia’s grandson speaks to his father’s ashes
According to TVyNovelas, Maribel Guardia’s grandson speaks with the ashes of his father, Julián Figueroa.
The singer’s widow, Imelda Garza Tuñón, revealed that her little son asks his father what he is doing.
She also said that he’s not in therapy because he is handling the loss well.
«I’m worried about how I might react when the ashes are no longer there and I think I’m going to need the help of a therapist,» Imelda said.
How did Julián Figueroa die?
Julián Figueroa died on April 9, 2023 at the age of 27, in Mexico City.
The son of Maribel Guardia and Joan Sebastian suffered a myocardial infarction.
The actress made the sad announcement on social media.
Immediately, Maribel’s family, friends and fans offered her their condolences and support.
‘I have thought about you, prayed and cried for you 365 days and nights’
On April 9, Maribel Guardia shared a post on the first anniversary of her son’s death.
The Costa Rican artist shared a series of photos of Julián Figueroa, along with an emotional message.
«I have thought about you, prayed and cried for 365 days and nights, I know that 12 months are just the beginning of this immense love, which grows more every day…»
Finally, Maribel asked him not to worry about her or little José Julián and his widow Imelda.
Maribel Guardia is mourning again
In her most recent Instagram post Maribel Guardia announced the death of her godson Rodrigo.
«You, my beautiful boy, were a teacher, you fought a thousand battles with everything against you,» she said.
The actress said that her godson shared lessons with her about love, tolerance and resilience.
«Give my Julián a hug and lots of kisses and remind him how much I love him, I already have two angels in heaven,» she concluded.
People offer their condolences
Upon finding out that Maribel Guardia is in mourning again, several showbiz personalities showed their support.
One of the first to comment on her post was Ana Barbara, who sent her a hug.
Host Jimena Pérez, better known as La Choco, and the actress Africa Zavala also commented.
«You are an angel, Maribel, thank you for being with your audience at all times,» a fan wrote.
